Gorontalo Police Patrols to Implore the Community in Maintaining Public Security

inp.polri.go.id – To safeguard public safety and security, while also prevent the spread of Covid-19, the North City Police of Gorontalo City, carried out a patrol to appeal the community in complying with the health protocol, Friday (6/24/2022).

This patrol was led by the North City Police Chief, IPTU Ricky P Parmo, S.H., along with Aipda Adi Podungge, Brigadier S Bangi and Brigadier Irfan Kamumu. Their main destination targets in conveying the appeals is at crowded places, such as shops, stalls, and residential areas.

When carrying out patrols, officers implores the people to maintain the security and social order and continue to comply with the health procedures.

The North City Police Chief, IPTU Ricky P Parmo, S.H., explained that the patrols were carried out to maintain the security of the region and anticipate any social security disturbances, while also implore the people to remain disciplined in carrying out health procedures.

“Although the health procedures have been eased and the Covid-19 cases have been decreased in Gorontalo City, people should not be careless and slack in implementing health procedures. For this reason, the North City Police continue to be present in the community through patrols,” explained the North City Police Chief.

The North City Police Chief invites and urges the entire community to remain disciplined in implementing health procedures such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, washing hands with soap, avoiding crowds, and reducing non-essential mobility to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

“Hopefully, with the community being patient and disciplined in carrying out health protocols, the Covid-19 pandemic will finally be over and people can carry out their normal activities,” concluded the North City Police Chief.
