The Operation Patuh Cartenz 2022 of Mimika Police

inp.polri.go.id – The Mimika Police Traffic Unit carried out Operation Patuh Cartenz 2022, and the results shows hundreds of vehicles were fined and warned by the members. The operation was carried out on Jalan Yos Sudarso, Timika, Mimika Regency, Papua with the target of 7 priority violations, Friday (6/24/2022).

The Mimika Police Traffic Unit’s Head of Ops, Iptu I Made Kumpul, explained that the operation will be carried out for two weeks.

“This operation is a continuation of Operations Patuh Cartenz 2022 and today we are conducting a raid on Jalan Yos Sudarso with the hope that if there are unpaid taxes, we will direct them to One-stop Administration Services Office (Samsat),” explained Iptu I Made Kumpul.

The Samsat is still giving leeway to vehicle owners to check the vehicle tax costs that are in arrears to be paid. If a vehicle is found that has not paid the vehicle tax in the next raid, a ticket will be issued.

“Although the tax has not been paid today, we direct them to check how much they have to pay. For now it is only a warning, but if they are caught again, it means they will fined,” he said.

Meanwhile, for visible violations that have the potential to cause accidents, his party immediately issue a ticket.

“As for violations such as vehicle registrations that expired, and also for violations that indicate an accident we will ticketed them,” he concluded.
