inp.polri.go.id – The National Police Chief (Kapolri), General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., attended the appreciation night of the creative work of “A Step of Change of Polri” at the Tribrata Building, South Jakarta, Wednesday (22/6/2022) night. This activity is still in the series to commemorate the 76th Bhayangkara Day on July 1.
“Tonight, I really appreciate the whole community, especially my colleagues, who, in commemoration of the 76th Bhayangkara Day, are willing to participate in our various activities. One of them is our commitment to make changes, with the theme of a step of change of the National Police (Polri),” said Kapolri.
Kapolri emphasized that the National Police is always committed in opening and providing space for all elements of society to express their opinions, both criticism and suggestions.
According to him, suggestions, critics, and inputs from the community is very beneficial to be studied and discussed by Polri, so they could be better in providing their services and becomes much more closer with the community.
“Our commitment is to open the space for criticism and input from the community so that we can evaluate and fix our institution to be better. We are sure that we cannot improve to be better without the involvement from the community,” said General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
All the inputs and criticism, even praise, from the community will be absorbed by Polri and made it into a positive energy for the institution in fixing and improving to be better.
In fact, Polri emphasized that the creative work of “A Step of Change of Polri” should be posted and read by the people. So that all Police personnel can continue to know what is the aspirations from the community.
“The work of all participants, must be collected, reproduced, posted and read by all members of Polri. That is the hope, criticism and appreciation of the community and I urge that we have to strive to the better,” said the former Banten Police Chief.
At the end of his statement, Kapolri emphasized that all ranks of Police must listen and pay attention to the expectations of the community for the goodness of Polri.
“Our joint commitment is to improve the institutions of Polri. Thank you for the jury who took their time, because there were thousands of participants, and i know it is tiring to judge thousands of them. For us, this is an appreciation for supporting the Police. We are committed to improve,” concluded Kapolri.
