inp.polri.go.id – Ambon. Maluku Police Chief (Kapolda Maluku), Inspector General Drs. Lotharia Latif, S.H., M.Hum., expressed his appreciation to Gennaro Alexandro Suitela, an Ambon Catholic Junior High School student, who won the 2nd place in the Letter Writing Competition for the Indonesian National Police Chief for the Junior High School level.

Genaro, who was accompanied by his parent, Yeni Suitela, was invited to the office of Kapolda Maluku, and was appreciated directly by the Police Chief, on Monday (20/6/2022).

During the visit of Genaro, Kapolda Maluku was accompanied by the Chief Ops of Polda Maluku, Commissioner Asep Saepudin, S.I.K., and Head of Multimedia Sub-Division, Commissioner Meiytha Herlina Samury, S.H.

“We congratulate Genaro who won the 2nd place in the Letter Writing Competition for the National Police Chief in the Junior High Schools level of Indonesia,” said the Police Chief.

Kapolda Maluku admitted that Genaro’s letter to the National Police Chief, Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., is very interesting. This is due to Genaro who raises the issue of brawls among junior high schools at this time.

“The letter to the National Police Chief by Genaro Alexandro Suitela is something that needs to be viral and be seen by the young generation of Maluku, especially in Ambon City,” he said.

The letter writing competition for the National Police Chief is part of the event in welcoming the 76th Anniversary of Bhayangkara, and Polda Maluku won the 2nd place in the Junior High School category.

The ceremonial award will be held on Wednesday (22/6/2022). The award will be handed over to the winners directly by the Chief of the National Police.

Genaro Suitela himself is a seventh grader at Ambon Catholic Junior High School. He wrote a letter to the National Police Chief regarding the phenomenon of chaos among students that is currently happening. His writing managed to come out as the 2nd winner out of 2,620 junior high school students in Indonesia who also wrote a letter to the National Police Chief.
