West Sumatra Regional Police Provided More Than 500 Provision to the People in Need at Padang City

inp.polri.go.id – The West Sumatra Regional Police (Polda West Sumatra) held a social service act on Monday (20/6) at the Istiqomah Mosque, Nanggalo District, Padang City.

The activity was led by the Head of Operations Bureau (Karo Ops) of Polda Sumbar, Commissioner Djajuli, S.I.K. The activity was also attended by the Main Officials of Polda Sumbar, the Istiqomah Mosque Management and the local community.

The social assistance was carried out in order to support the government’s program for national economic recovery, which is also in line with the transformation towards a PRECISION Police by enhancing police activities in maintaining national security and stability which was ceremoniously coincided with the 76th anniversary of Bhayangkara on July 1, 2022.

Karo Ops Polda Sumbar, Commissioner Djajuli, S.I.K., said the activity shows that the National Police (Polri) still exists amid the community in its age of 76, and also participating in the recovery of the national economy, while also strengthening the bond with the community in an effort to realize PRECISION Police services.

“In addition to supporting government programs, this activity is also to show our gratitude and proof that Polda Sumbar concerned with the condition of the less fortunate people, especially those who feels the direct impact of the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.

In that activity, Polda Sumbar handed over 500 packages of provisons to the poor, which was centered at the Istiqomah Mosque, Nanggalo District, Padang City.

“This is a routine activity that continues to be carried out by Polda Sumbar and their ranks, and hopefully, this activity will still continue to be carried out in the future,” said Commissioner Djajuli.

“I also hope that through the activities held today, we can increase our social sensitivity and that we can share with the community in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic,” continued Karo Ops.

On behalf of the West Sumatra Police Chief, he conveyed his gratitude to the related institutions and the people who participated and help the activity ran well and successfully.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of Polda Sumbar, Commissioner Satake Bayu, S.I.K., added that apart from handing over food packages to people in need, his party also cleaned the mosque.
