The Proof of a Strong Bond Between TNI-Polri and the Community of Yokatapa

inp.polri.go.id – Through the Elite Figure Communications for Security (Koteka) program, the Noken Community Development (Binmas) of Cartenz Peace Ops, led by Deputy Chief of Binmas Unit (Wakasatgas Binmas), AKBP M. Yamin Dian Prioyono, S.I.K, and Deputy Chief of Preventive Unit, AKBP Ignatius Beni Adiprabowo S.I.K., once again provided aids in a traditional stone-burning party in Bajemba, Yokatapa Village, Sugapa district, Intan Jaya district, Friday (10/6).

The handover of 5 pigs, and also Bibles, were also attended by Regional Secretary of Intan Jaya Regency, Aser Murib, S.Pd., Sector Commander of Preventive Unit, AKBP Cristian Kadang, S.E., S.I.K., Military District Commander Captain Inf. Duriat, community leaders, religious leaders, as well as TNI-Polri personnel and the community from various villages.

In his speech, the Wakasatgas Binmas said the assistance provided in the program was part of their relationship with the community in Intan Jaya Regency.

He also hopes that these activities can continue to be carried out in the future in order to maintain harmony and synergy between the TNI-Polri apparatus, the Regional Government, as well as leaders and the community.

“Activities like this must still continue in the future. Therefore, we entrust our personnel in Intan Jaya Regency in the mandate to maintain security in the region and help bring prosperity to the community,” added Wakasatgas further.

On that occasion, the Regional Secretary of Intan Jaya expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the Police programs which have been proven to have an impact on the community.

“This is a positive activity in terms of building good relations between the TNI-Polri apparatus and the people of Intan Jaya Regency. One of which is the success of seven native sons of Intan Jaya Regency in becoming members of the Police. Now they can jointly maintain the security and development of their homeland, along with the community,” said the Regional Secretary.

As a religious figure, Pastor Yakob Sondegau also expressed his gratitude for the bible provided by Binmas Noken, and indeed it was very beneficial for the congregation.

“Binmas Noken is always present in providing assistance to the community. This time we were given bible, which ofcourse will be used for the congregation at the Antokia GKII Church. May God repay all the good deeds that you have done,” said Jacob.

Not only providing assistance, the TNI-Polri personnel involved also participated in the traditional procession of burning stones which was going well and lively. The cultural event presents as a symbol of a strong bond of the community.
