inp.polri.go.id – Around 150 loud exhaust of motorbike was terminated after being confiscated in the Operation Patuh 2022 in Makassar since June 13.
The Head Traffic Unit (Kasat Lantas) of Makassar Police, AKBP Zulanda, said that his parties has also fined the car drivers that was detected by ETLE due to violating the traffic law such as not wearing seta belts or using their phones when driving.
“For ETLE, the system has detected 34 drivers who violates the traffic law, and we will fine them for that,” said Kasat Lantas of Makassar Police on Sunday (19/6/2022).
Other than fines, his parties has also warned other motorbike drivers during this recent week.
“Since 13 to 19 June, we have warned 1,884 motorbike drivers,” revealed Kasat Lantas of Makassar Police.
The Operation Patuh 2022 will be conducted for the next two weeks, starting from 13 to 26 June.
In the operation, the Police focused on acting upon the seven violations, such as not wearing SNI-helmet, driving against the flow, not wearing seatbelts, using phones while driving, carrying more than one passanger, drunk driving, and speeding.
