inp.polri.go.id – In commemoration of the 76th Bhayangkara Day, many events continued to be conducted, including the ketinting boat race which was held on the Kayan river, Bulungan.The Deputy Kapolda of Kaltara, Brigadier General Erwin Zadma, S.I.K., who was also accompanied by the main officials of the Polda Kaltara, as well as the Forkompimda of the Province of Kaltara were also present and watched the ketinting boat racing competition.
This ketinting boat racing competition was attended by at least 52 participants who were divided into several groups and classes. For the safety of each participant, each participant is required to wear a life jacket. This event was also supervised by personnel from the Directorate of Water and Air Police of the Kaltara Police.
The Deputy Police Chief of Kaltara Policesaid that the ketinting boat race was part of a series of activities to commemorate the 76th anniversary of Bhayangkara. Meanwhile, the ketinting boat race was also an effort to preserve the culture of the Bulungan community.
The ketinting boat race which was held on the Kayan Bulungan River was opened directly by the Deputy Chief of the Kaltara Police.
