inp.polri.go.id – On the fourth day of Operation Patuh Toba 2022, the Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of the North Sumatra Police (Polda Sumut) has found violators in the field.
Based on the data obtained by police officers, there were 48 violations through the Statistical ETLE system.
Ditlantas Polda Sumut also stated that they had warned 1,139 drivers on the road, both car and motorbike drivers.
On the fourth day of the operation, there was a traffic accident which caused a person suffering minor injuries.
The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the North Sumatra Police (Polda Sumut), Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi said that during the operation, the personnel continued to regulate traffic flow to break down congestion.
In addition to regulating traffic flow, personnel also educate the violators and warned them not to do it again.
“By prioritizing education, we aim to help remind the public about the importance of security, safety, order, and smooth traffic,” said the Intermediate Officer of the North Sumatra Police.
Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi hopes that the community will be more orderly and disciplined in obeying traffic rules for the safety of themselves and the others.
