Polda Banten Secured Two Land Mafias in Pandeglang

inp.polri.go.id – The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of the Banten Police has succeeded in securing two land mafia suspects who forged signatures on the Sale and Purchase Deed (AJB) documents to buyers in Carita Village, Carita District, Pandeglang Regency.

“Investigators arrested two suspects, each of them had different roles. US (65) the Village Head who had a role in transacting land by falsifying the victim’s signature on every AJB document, and SHJ (63) the victim’s relatives who helped on every transaction. AJB documents,” explained the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the Banten Police, Commissioner Shinto Silitonga, Thursday (16/06/22).

Commissioner Shinto Silitonga said that from this case, the two suspects sold the land illegally to other parties by falsifying the victim’s signature when processing the legality of documents in the interest of the transaction.

“For the land area of 1.2 hectares, the perpetrators faked the signature as if it belonged to the victim and then transacted it on the Sale and Purchase Deed (AJB) document to the buyer,” said Banten Police Intermediate Officer.

In this case, Banten Police investigators provided evidence in the form of 44 AJB documents and one original copy of the victim’s power of attorney.

For their actions, the suspects were charged with multi-layered articles, namely Article 263 of the Criminal Code regarding document falsification, Article 264 of the Criminal Code on forgery into authentic deeds and Article 266 of the Criminal Code concerning the act of ordering to insert false information into authentic deeds with a cumulative penalty of 7 years imprisonment.
