inp.polri.go.id – Nusa Dua. Member of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas), Pudji Hartanto, expressed his appreciation for the police escort in the 2022 Vespa World Days (VWD) automotive show which was held on the Peninsula, Nusa Dua, Bali.
“I appreciate the international security by the National Police (Polri) in this international event. From the first to the second day, it went smoothly and safely,” said Pudji in Jakarta, Wednesday (15/6/2022)
Indonesia host the 2022 VWD which was held from Thursday (9/6) to Sunday (12/6). The event was attended by 8,500 Vespa lovers from 16 countries. Pudji Hartanto was also present at the event to monitor the security by the Police, especially the Bali Police, in this international event in securing traffic flow.
Pudji also appreciated and thanked the Bali Police Traffic Director, Prianto, for the traffic security that has going well. As the external supervisor of Polri, Pudji hopes that Polri can continue to provide a sense of security in maintaining security and public order at every world-scale event like this. Pudji hopes that the International Vespa World Days 2022 event will become a promotional event for Indonesian tourism in the eyes of the world.
According to him, Indonesia is known to be a beautiful, rich in culture, and rich in natural mountains and seas. One of the series of VWD 2022 activities is the Vespa Ride Out. In this agenda, the participants will explore a number of areas on the island of Bali, one of which is the Panglipuran Tourism Village.
The Traffic Directorate of the Bali Police escorted the first wave of vespa riders, totaling 100 people, to the village of Panglipuran Nusa Dua, which is about 60 km away and the second ride out to Tegalalang. The escort is also carried out to the riders in the next wave.
