inp.polri.go.id – Polda Metro Jaya has arrested and named the highest leader of the Khilafatul Muslimin, Abdul Qadir Baraja, as a suspect. The person concerned was arrested in connection with several cases in Lampung and then taken to Jakarta.
One of the cases is related to the Khilafah Awakening campaign. Abdul Qadir was later named a suspect, Thursday, (9/6/22).
Head of the Public Relations Division (Kadiv Humas) of the National Police (Polri), Inspector General Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, M.Hum., M.Si., M.M., explained that Abdul was arrested not only in connection with the convoy but also several other criminal acts that were found in the investigation by the Polda Metro Jaya.
“There are also related violations of the Community Organizations Law and ITE Law in making false news and noise in the community,” explained Kadiv Humas Polri.
Inspector General. Pol. Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, M. Hum., M.Sc., M.M., could not explain in more detail regarding the arrest. They are currently still investigating.
