inp.polri.go.id – After successfully rescuing a woman who was about to commit suicide on the Kapuas Bridge which went viral on social media, two police officers received an award for their performance.
The two officers are Aiptu Ferry Rinanto and Bripka Tirta Agung who are part of the Pontianak Police Traffic Unit. Pontianak Police Chief, Commissioner Andi Herindra awards the two members in a ceremony held at the Pontianak Police Headquarters, Monday (6/6/2022).
“I congratulate and thank the personnel of the Pontianak Police Traffic Unit, namely Aiptu Fery Rinanto and Bripka Tirta Agung VH who have excelled, disciplined, loyal, heroic, and highly dedicated in carrying out their duties,” he said quoted from the Pontianak Police website.
The Pontianak Police Chief said that every member of the police is entitled to an award for their services or achievements in devoting themself to the advancement of the organization.
The awards are also to foster a sense of pride, respect, exemplary attitude and work motivation.
