inp.polri.go.id –Â Polda Metro Jaya will deploy 1,700 personnel to secure the Formula E electric car racing event which will be held in Ancol, North Jakarta on June 4, 2022.
The Ops Head Bureau (Karo Ops) of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Marsudianto said that the thousands of personnel would provide security in ring two, while the inner area no personnel would be deployed. “We have prepared 1700 personnel for security, especially in ring two. We don’t provide security inside because there is already a security guard who has been prepared from SGA,” he explained after visiting the Formula E venue, Monday (30/5/22).
Commissioner Marsudianto also stated that President Joko Widodo was rumored to be attending to the event. Due to this, the personnel will also arrange for road paving container trucks when Jokowi’s entourage arrives. “One hour before the President arrives, we will stop large vehicles, especially containers until the President finishes their activities, then we will reopen the road for a while,” explained Karo Ops.
He also informed the public that buses have been prepared at Jiexpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta for those who want to watch the event.
