inp.polri.go.id – To improve prevention of juvenile delinquency, street crime, and thuggery, the West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) will carry out Operation Bina Kusuma Lodaya in 2022, which will be held from 30 May 2022 to 9 June 2022.
Crime is an anti-social act that violates the law, and is related to seizing other people’s property rights and can cause harm and discomfort in society. Crime occurs because of several influencing factors, such as personal factors, social factors, and situational or environmental factors that encourage someone to commit a crime.
Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Jabar, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo S.I.K., M.Sc., said that the implementation of Operation Bina Kusuma Lodaya in preventing social disturbances is expected to create public safety and security in the jurisdiction of Polda Jawa Barat.
“The target places in the Operation Bina Kusuma Lodaya 2022 are economic centers, places related to financial transactions, bus terminals, train stations, airports, ports, recreation areas, tourism, entertainment, vital objects, traffic-prone areas, street vendors, quiet roads and etc.” said Kabid Humas Polda Jabar.
He explained that the Operation Bina Kusuma Lodaya focuses on the orientation of the Police’s duties to suppress the thuggery crimes, juvenile delinquency, drug abuse, domestic violence, fights between community groups, violence against women and children.
