inp.polri.go.id –Â The National Police Chief (Kapolri), Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., representing the family of the National Police institution, expressed his deepest condolences for the death of the former General Chairperson of PP Muhammadiyah, Ahmad Syafii Maarif or better known as Buya Syafii.
“Innalillahi wa innailaihi rajiun, of course, on this occasion we express our condolences to the death of Buya Syafii and I pray his entire family are given strength to pass this hard time,” said Kapolri during a funeral for Buya Syafii at the Kauman Gede Mosque, Friday (27/5/2022).
Kapolri stated that Buya Syafii was a figure and father of the nation who always gave positive messages of nationality to the people.
“We have lost a leader and father of the nation who have always given positive messages to all of us.We all feel loss for the passing of Buya Syafii,” said Kapolri.
Even though Buya Syafii has passed away, Sigit hopes that all the positive messages that Buya Syafii has always conveyed must continue to be voiced by the current generation of the nation.
“However, the message, his mandate, of course, must continue to be conveyed. We hope that this nation can become better and we pray his entire family to be given the strength to pass this hard time,” said Kapolri.
Furthermore, Kapolri emphasized that Buya Syafii will continue to be an example in realizing a much better Indonesia in the future.
