inp.polri.go.id – Central Sulawesi Police Chief (Kapolda Sulteng), Inspector General Drs. Rudy Sufahriadi confirmed that there was only one suspect left on the wanted list (DPO) for the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) terrorist group, which is Askar alias Jaid alias Pak Guru.
“In my coordination with Special Detachment (Densus) 88, we can confirm that there is only one suspect left,” said Inspector General Drs. Rudy Sufahriadi.
Kapolda Sulteng hopes that Pak Guru immediately surrenders himself for legal processing.
“If you don’t want to give yourself up, we’ll keep looking after you until we get you,” stressed the Two-Star General.
Densus 88, together with the Central Sulawesi Regional Police managed to secure 24 people suspected of being involved in the Jamaah Anshor Daulah (JAD) network for supporting the MIT group.
During the arrest, police officers secured a homemade revolver, ammunition, air rifles, PCP weapons, seven arrows, sharp weapons, cellphones and Daulah Islamiah books as evidence.
Meanwhile, the Madago Raya Task Force will continue to look for traces of another DPO under the name Muhklas alias Galuh alias Nae. If Muhklas was shot and indeed died, the authorities would try to find his body.
