inp.polri.go.id – The Noken Community Development (Binmas) Task Force of the Nduga Region visited the Gulama Village, Kenyam District, Nduga Regency, to build a stronger friendship and convey the messages to maintain public security in the region, Wednesday (18/5).
The Peka Program was led by the Head Regional Coordinator, Ipda Murtono, S.H.
During his visit, he invited the people of Gulama to work together with the authorities in maintaining public safety and security.
“Maintaining public security is our shared responsibility, therefore we need a good collaboration between the Police and the community,” said Ipda Murtono.
He adds that it is necessary to establish a strong relationship and build active communication with all parties, to prevent any misinformation that develops in the community.
“Let’s always be tolerant and not be easily influenced by irresponsible people who shared misinformation in Kenyam city. Together we will always maintain the public security and safety in the city of Kenyam so that in the future this city will become more secure and peaceful,” continued Head Regional Coordinator.
Furthermore, Ipda Murtono revealed that the Peka program is one of the flagship programs of the Cartenz Peace Ops to build relationships and partnerships with the community.
“With the humanitarian approach, we hope that the community can work together with the National Police to create a safe and secure society,” said Ipda Murtono as Head of the Nduga Regional Coordinator.
In addition to conveying the messages to maintain security, the Binmas Noken Task Force for the Nduga Region also inspect the fostered farmlands as part of partnership between the Police and the community to maintain a close relationship.
Meanwhile, one of the community leaders in Gulama Village, Ulius Kogoya, thanked the Police who was always present in the midst of the community and supported them in keeping the situation safe in the region.
“As the church youth leaders, we thank the Police for providing the security and comfort in the community and took care of us with their humanitarian programs,” said Ulius Kogoya.
