inp.polri.go.id – Jambi Regional Police Chief (Kapolda Jambi), Inspector General Albertus Rachmad Wibowo, S.I.K., M.I.K., received a courtesy visit from the management of the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) of Jambi Province, Tuesday (17/5/2022) in the Jambi Regional Police (Polda Jambi) Meeting Hall.
As Chairman of KNPI Jambi, M. Iqbal Linus said this visit was to strengthen the relations and synergy between KNPI and the police, especially Polda Jambi.
“To Kapolda, I would like to say thank you for the warm welcome, a lot of advice, directions, and input for the good of the youth of the Jambi province,” said the Chair of the KNPI Jambi.
He continued that it is a great fortune that currently Jambi has a Regional Police Chief who is always eager to discuss and care about the development of youth in Jambi.
M. Iqbal Linus also explained that his meeting with Kapolda Jambi is also to discussed how to overcome the problems of coal transportation, illegal drilling, falling prices of palm fruit, and illegal mining.
“KNPI really appreciates the performance of Polda Jambi who is always consistent in eradicating illegal gold mining. Of course KNPI will be committed and eager to help in finding the solutions, both short-term and long-term, to the problems that exist in Jambi province,” he added.
The chairman of KNPI Jambi added that in the near future, he and the KNPI Jambi management will conduct a study and formulate solutions to problems in Jambi province, especially related to the problem of coal transportation and illegal gold mining.
“The results of those solutions and investigation will be delivered to the relevant agencies, both the Jambi provincial government and related ministries,” he concluded.
In the same place, the Jambi Regional Police Chief was delighted with the visit and the discussion, and thanked the Jambi provincial KNPI management for the visit.
“Thank you KNPI for the visit. Polda Jambi will always support positive activities by the young people in Jambi province, especially those from KNPI,” said Kapolda Jambi.
He hopes that KNPI can always work together with Polda Jambi regarding the development of youth in Jambi province, as well as related to social and public disturbances in Jambi province.
