inp.polri.go.id – Head of the Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam) of the National Police (Polri), Commissioner General Drs. Arief Sulistyo, M.Sc., gave an award to the Directorate of Water and Air Police (Ditpolairud_ of the South Sumatra Police (Polda Sumsel) in their efforts to prevent the smuggling of baby lobster seeds.
This award was given directly by Kabaharkam Polri, and accompanied by the South Sumatra Police Chief (Kapolda Sumsel), Inspector General Drs. Toni Harmanto, M.H., at Polda Sumsel HQ, Wednesday (18/5).
“I thank Inspector General Drs. Toni Harmanto, M.H., who has carried out his duties by leading Polda Sumsel well,” said Kabaharkam Polri.
Kabaharkam Polri stated that law enforcement against this kind of case is a very difficult thing to do but the Ditpolairud Polda Sumsel has succeeded in uncovering it.
“We have to have a good intention in doing our duty and sure that we can succeed in doing so, just like what Ditpolairud Polda Sumsel did,” he said.
He said that the Police could not work alone without the support of the people who participated in maintaining public safety and security in South Sumatra.
“For that, we must have a good relationship between us and the community so that many unjust things can be prevented,” said Kabaharkam Polri. “We hope that this award can motivate us to be better,” he concluded.
