inp.polri.go.id – The Indonesian Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation gave some aids for Papuan children through the Cartenz Peace Ops at the Cartenz Peace Ops post at Jayapura City, Wednesday (18/5/22).
The activity was attended by The Head Ops of Cartenz Peace Ops, Commissioner Muhammad Firman, The Chief Uni for Cartenz Peace Ops, chairman of the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation of Papua, Susanto Pirono, Chairman of the Jayapura City Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation, Iriant, and volunteers from the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation.
Commissioner Muhammad Firman said that Cartenz Peace Ops is an operation that approaches the community in a preemptive way.
“We will distribute the aids to the five areas targeted for the Cartenz Peace Operation 2022. The aids that we received are bags, story books, picture books, and school supplies,” he said.
“We hope that this collaboration can continue and be improved and will not stop here, if the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation wants to go directly to the Operations area, we, Operations Peace Cartenz will be ready to escorts,” he continued.
On the same occasion, the Chairperson of the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation of Papua, Susanto Pirono, said that this aids were given to humanitarian missions, health, education, and community social charities, thus they give it to the Cartenz Peace Ops who did that kinds of mission.
“A total of 1,600 school children’s aid packages may be able to help and motivate children to reach their dreams, and hopefully this love package can be felt by the children in five areas of the Cartenz Peace Operation,” he said.
The Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation, as an organization, has also provided support for natural disaster relief in several areas that occurred in the regions.
