Police Teaches Kids of Oksingsing Village to Read and Count

inp.polri.go.id – To help educate the children, the Noken Community Development (Binmas) of Cartenz Peace Ops teaches the children of Oksingsing to read and count, Tuesday (17/5).

In this activity the Binmas Noken Task Force teach the kids by playing with them so that they will be more enthusiastic in learning new things.

“Other than playing with the kids, Binmas Task Force personnel also teaches the children of the Okingsing village ton how to read and write and for those who can answer the questions correctly, the personnel will give them some kind of presents,” said the Task Force.

Not just reading and writing, but the personnel also instill them a sense of nationalism such as introducing the symbol of the Republic of Indonesia, singing the national anthems of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as introducing the with the maps and names of regions in Indonesia.

At the end of the activity, Iptu Sabtuwadji asked the children of the Oksingsing village to always study so they can reach their own dreams.

Meanwhile, Head of the Public Relations of the Task Force, Commissioner Drs. Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, S.H said that the spirit of nationalism must be instilled from an early age in order to build a generation that is proud and in love with its nation. Through the this teaching program, it is hoped that they can educate the children in the remote villages of Papua.
