inp.polri.go.id – The Community Development (Binmas) of Cartenz Peace Ops in the Bintang Mountains region provided food supplies to the community of Okbibab District, Bintang Mountains Regency, Saturday (14/05/2022).
This activity was led directly by the the Okbibab Police Chief, Ipda Robert Makanuay, S.E., and accompanied by the personnel of the Binmas Cartenz Peace Ops.
Robert said that this activity was to heal the trauma of the community after being attacked by an armed criminal group on May 1, 2022 in the Okbibab District, Bintang Mountains Regency.
“It is hoped that these aids can be useful for the community to meet their daily needs considering that there are still people who cannot carry out their normal activities as usual because of the trauma caused by the actions of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB),” said Robert.
The aids that was given were 30 sacks of 10 kg of rice, 30 cartons of instant noodle and two cartons of salted fish.
The Secretary of the Okbibab District, Mr. Timotius Setamanki, said, “We, the people of the Okbibab District, are very grateful to the Police, for their help to us,” he said.
Head of Public Relations of Cartenz Peace Ops, Commissioner Drs. Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, S.H said he hoped that the activity can help ease the burden of the community in Okbibab District and can strengthen the relationship between the community and the police.
