inp.polri.go.id – The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) set fire to the 1 Public Senior High School Teacher Complex Housing that was located in Wako Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency on Friday (13/05) night.
Head of Public Relations (Kasatgas Humas) of Cartenz Peace Ops, Commissioner Drs. Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, S.H confirmed the fire incident.
“The incident occurred at 19.00 Wit when postal 408 received the information via HT that there had been a fire at the Ilaga 1 Public Senior High School Teacher Complex Housing,” explained Kasatgas Humas.
DPP personnel that was led by Ipda Kristofol R Lewirissa, S.E, M.H., along with Carntez Peace Ops personnel headed to the crime scene (TKP) at 19.10 WIT.
“Cartenz Peace Ops personnel, and the team that was led by Ipda Kristofol R. Lewerissa, S.H, M.H carried out patrols and sweeps around the crime scene but there was sign of other KKB movement,” concluded Kasatgas Humas.
He also added that the Cartenz Peace Ops personnel and the residents helped extinguish the fire that burned the Ilaga 1 Public Senior High School Teacher Complex Housing and at 19.20 WIT the fire was successfully extinguished.
“The Cartenz Peace Ops team also patrols around PT. MTT Ilaga, Puncak Regency to ensure there was no movement from the KKB Group,” explained Kasatgas Humas.
After the fire was extinguished, the situation in Wako Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency gradually became conducive.
“After consolidating, several personnel in Puncak Regency are on standby in an effort to anticipate further actions from the arson,” concluded Kasatgas Humas.
