inp.polri.go.id – The Chief of Security Guard of the Indonesian National Police (Kabaharkam Polri), Commissioner General Drs. Arief Sulistyanto, M.Sc., gave an award to the crew of the Kedidi Ship for confiscating 49 kilograms of marijuana.
Kabharkam Polri hopes that the crew of the Kedidi Ship will continue to give their best in marine patrols in protecting Indonesian ocean waters, so that the access of drugs into Indonesia can be prevented.
“This award can be a motivate them more in patrolling the seas of Indonesia,” said Arif at Belawan Port, Medan City, Thursday (12/05/22).
During his visit, Kabaharkam Polri was accompanied by the North Sumatran Police Chief (Kapolda Sumut), Inspector General Drs. R.Z. Panca Putra Simanjuntak, M.Sc., Deputy Head of North Sumatra Police (Wakapolda Sumut) Brigadier General Dr. H. Dadang Hartanto, S.H., S.I.K., M.Sc., and the Director of the Water and Air Police (Dirpolairud) of North Sumatra Police (Polda Sumut) Commissioner Toni Ariadi Effendi, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., M.M.
After giving the award, Kabaharkam Polri also examined the condition of the Kedidi Ship.
At the end of the visit, Kabaharkam Polri also gave food supplies to coastal communities after participating in mass vaccination on the Floating Polyclinic Ship.
“The vaccination target in North Sumatra has exceeded the target achievement. However, Polda Sumut still continue to carry out the vaccinations, and the number of the Covid-19 case has decreased,” concluded the Kabaharkam Polri.
