Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI Appreciated The Extraordinary Performance of Polri

inp.polri.go.id – Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI, Adies Kadir, appreciated the extraordinary performance of the Head of the National Police Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., who has sent hundreds of police personnel suspected of being involved in drug abuse to the Mobile Brigade Corps.

According to the Golkar Party politician, this is the right step to restore the Police integrity as a servant and protector of the community.

“We really appreciate the extraordinary work of the Divpropam Polri which provides a coaching punishment by sending 136 Polri members involved in drugs to training at the Brimob headquarters,” said the Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party’s DPP for Legal Affairs, Friday.

“A model like this is good to restore the characteristics of Polri as the protectors of society,” stated the DPP General Chairperson of the Gotong Royong Family Deliberation Organization (MKGR).

The Deputy Chairperson of Commission III of the DPR RI strongly agrees that the authority of the Propam Division needs to be added to enforce the law within the National Police with the aim of making personnel better and more professional in carrying out their duties.

Previously, the Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambodo had proposed to the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Sc., to increase the authority of the Propam Division to carry out law enforcement against members of the Indonesian National Police who commit criminal acts.

Meanwhile, sending the personnel involved in drugs to the Mobile Brigade Corps is aimed to train skills and self-control.

This is so that personnel are can be productive and able to gives their contribution to families, communities, and institutions so that they can become the Police with integrity.

“This activity is a form of concern to members who have problems and needs for guidance,” explained the Head of the Propam Division.

The Head of the Propam Division emphasized that if there are still members of the Police who are involved in abusing drugs or other violations, they will be given strict sanctions up to dismissal.

“If they are still using drugs, you will immediately be sent to PTDH,” explained the Head of the Propam Division.

The Head of the Propam Division expressed his gratitude to the Dankor Brimob Inspector General. Pol. Drs. Anang Revandoko who cooperates with the Propam Division in professional recovery coaching.
