inp.polri.go.id – The Head of the Indigenous Community Institution (LMA) of Nduga regency, John Beon, said that the Police are part of the community that cannot be separated, Wednesday (11/5/2022).
He said that the presence of the Police in Nduga provides a sense of security for the community. Besides ensuring the security, they also guide the community to understand the law and norms of life.
“The police provide us public safety and security, and also enforce the law. The law is the guide for the community to live within the norms that applied here. And for that, the police must always be present here,” he said.
The leader of LMA of Nduga also supports the programs of the police to support the welfare of the people in Nduga. According to him, the program is also a proof of relationship between the community and the Police.
“As the head of LMA, we fully support the steps taken by the Papuan Police, which has conducted various positive programs for the community. The program is part of the effort between two parties to establish a friendly relationship,” the Head of LMA continued.
Lastly, he said that the police are part of the community that must continue to be present in the community so that a sense of security, comfort and peace is maintained in Nduga.
“The National Police are part of the community, the community really needs the presence of the Police to ensure security and support us through through the programs for the welfare of the community,” concluded the Head of LMA of Nduga regency, John Beon.
