inp.polri.go.id – The Traffic Unit (Korlantas) of the National Police (Polri) evaluates the Ketupat Operation 2022 in securing the Homecoming of this year.
“First, I would like to say tahnk you for all parties that got involved in this operation,” said explained the Director of Law Enforcement (Dirgakkum) of Korlantas Polri, Brigadier General Aan Suhanan, Wednesday (11/5/2022)
He also stated that this year’s operation was truly an extraordinary event due to the high volume of vehicles after the homecoming was prohibited for two years because of pandemic.
The One-Star General said that the predictions from observers and experts that there would be severe congestion or stagnation because of the large number of vehicles that would pass through the Trans Java toll road really helped Polri in designing strategies to overcome these problems.
“Thank God, with various methods and careful preparations, we can manage this so that there is no severe traffic jam. In fact, there is a lot of appreciation from the community for our efforts in managing traffic flows during the homecoming and return flow,” said the Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri.
Brigadier General Aan Suhanan admitted that the preparation and planning for this year’s operation with the Ministry of Transportation, Jasa Marga, and the Heads of Sub-Directorate Generals were very good and based on truly scientific data.
“That’s the real traffic management. I am glad, I appreciate, and thank you for all the struggles that you have been through, and thank god the effort that we have done did bear a fruit. In the future we will be even better. Thank you for all your efforts and your service,” said the Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri in his closing statement.
