inp.polri.go.id – The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of North Sumatra Police (Polda Sumut) handed over Doctor G, who used an empty vaccine injection, to the Public Prosecutor at the Medan District Attorney.
“The suspect’s dossier is in phase II and declared complete, so the investigators from Ditreskrimsus Polda Sumut have handed over Doctor G to the Public Prosecutor,” explained the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Sumut, Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi, in Medan, Wednesday (11/05/22).
He explained that the suspect was received by the Public Prosecutor from the North Sumatra Prosecutor’s Office, Febrina Sebayang and Rahmi Syafrina.
In a different place, the Head of the Intelligence of the Medan District Attorney’s Office (Kejari), Simon, said that the second phase of submission from Polda Sumut had been completed.
“Furthermore, the Public Prosecutor is preparing their indictment so that it can be immediately transferred to the Medan District Court. However, the suspect has not been detained,” he said.
Previously, the administration of empty vaccine injections was carried out by doctor G when he was a vaccinator for children aged 6-11 years at Wahidin Elementary School, Monday, January 17, 2022.
During the vaccination, the student’s parents made a video of their child being vaccinated.
After watching the video, it is suspected that the vaccine given to their child was empty. Then the child’s parents informed other family members and the video went viral on social media.
For this act, the suspect is charged with violating Article 14 paragraph 1 and or Article 14 paragraph 2 of Law Number 4 of 1984 concerning outbreaks of infectious diseases.
