Densus 88 Monitors The Five People Who Financed ISIS

inp.polri.go.id – The United States government has imposed sanctions on five people that they called as an ISIS financial facilitator network.

Five of them are described as Indonesian citizens who are active in Indonesia, Syria, and Turkey to support militias in Syria, Wednesday (11/5/22).

Responding to this case, the Counter-Terrorism Special Detachment (Densus) 88 of the National Police (Polri) monitors the five people who were sanctioned by the United States. For those who are abroad, the International Relations of the National Central Bureau (NCB) of Polri is cooperating with Interpol in handling them.

Head of the Public Relations Division (Kadiv Humas) of Polri, Inspector General Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, M.Hum., M.Sc., M.M., explained that he had obtained the identities of the five people, two of whom had been legally processed in Indonesia by Densus 88 Polri.

“There are two people in Indonesia who are being processed by Densus 88,” explained Kadiv Humas Polri.

Inspector General Dr. Dedi Prasetyo, M.Hum., M.Sc., M.M., revealed that the two people, one of them is Ari Kardian.

“Ari has been prosecuted twice, the first and second sentences were imprisonment for 3 years,” said Kadiv Humas Polri.

Then, in 2019 Rudi Heriadi was sentenced to 3.5 years, and was only released due to deportation from Syria. Two other people are women named Dwi Dahlia Susanti and Dini Ramadani.

And another one is Muhammad Dandi Adiguna. Based on the initial information, he is currently in Syria.

“Based on his father’s statement, Muhammad Dandi Adiguna is already abroad, maybe in Syria,” said Kadiv Humas Polri.
