inp.polri.go.id – One of the community leaders in Yahukimo, which is also a member of the Noken Community Development (Binmas) program, Isak Salak, appreciated the Community Welfare Program (Cassowary Program) from the Binmas Cartenz Peace Ops.
This was conveyed after the Task Force provides the community with training on how to properly process foods. The training itself was held in Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, Wednesday (27/04/2022).
“We would like to thank you for the aid, this is a new change and motivation for us. Through the Cassowary Program, we begin to start a pig farming business and for this, we really appreciate the police, “said Isak Salak to Binmas Cartenz Peace Ops.
According to him, the National Police are really concerned for the Papuan people. This can be seen that they have done various programs through the Binmas Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force.
“The police really cares about the community by giving their best aid, especially to the Papuan people and especially to the Papuan Mountain Region, Yahukimo, starting from the Yali, Hubla, Kimyal, and other tribes,” said Isak.
Regarding the training provided by the Task Force, he and the community were very happy and enthusiastic about it.
“We are very happy because we received a unit of food chopper machine and concentrate. They also thought us about animal food processing, we did not know that banana trees could be used as pig feed, and now we know, thank you,” he thanked Binmas Noken.
At the end of his remarks, he hoped that the Cartenz Peace Ops would continue their various programs and hoped that the community would be motivated to start a business in the pig farming sector.
It cannot be denied that pigs are very valuable animals for the Papuan people, especially the mountainous areas. Due to that, the Police give the people pig breeds in the hope of helping improve the welfare of the community.
