inp.polri.go.id – To help educate the next generation in Papua, the Community Development (Binmas) of Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force carries out the Si-Ipar Program (Education by the Police) in Moruku Village, Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, Wednesday (27/04/2022).
The location of Moruku Village which is far from Dekai City does not dampen the enthusiasm of the personnel to help educate Papuan children.
The arrival of Iptu Joni Linggi and the personnel of the Binmas Task Force were welcomed by the locals and the kids. The children greet them with a smile.
In this activity, the Binmas Task Force personnel engaged with the kids to play while learning and also teach them basic learning materials such as reading, counting, writing, and drawing.
The children were very enthusiastic about participating in the activity, seen from their cheerful laughter, especially when they sang religious and national songs together with the personnel.
The Head of Kokamu Village, Sem Ira, appreciated the program where he hoped that activities like this could continue to be carried out.
“Thanks to Binmas Noken for coming here to teach the children in Moruku Village. In the future, we hope that with this activity, the children can get smarter and more motivated in studying,” said Sem Ira.
Meanwhile, The Head of Public Relations of Cartenz Peace Ops, Commissioner Drs Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, SH said the program had the aim and purpose to spark the kid’s enthusiasm for learning and filling their free time with much more useful activities, and also to establish a close relationship between the children and the police.
“In doing this kind of activity, we did it with a moderate approach and tend to be more playful so it will be easier for them to remember it because it’s fun,” concluded the Head of the Public Relations Task Force.
