inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Bareskrim Polri has succeeded in uncovering cases of alleged fraud in the selection of civil servant aspirants (CPNS) 202. The cases of cheating in the selection of CPNS have occurred in several areas from Sulawesi to Sumatra.
“It happened from Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Lampung, to South Sulawesi,” explained the Head of the Public Relations Division (Kabag Penum) Polri, Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, S.I.K., Monday (25/4/22).
Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko explained that as many as 359 CPNS participants were disqualified because they were proven to have cheated in the selection process. Then, the latest investigators found other 81 CPNS participants who also cheats, but had not yet been disqualified.
“There were 359 participants who were disqualified according to the BKN letter, and 81 others who had just been found and have not yet been disqualified,” explained Kabag Penum Polri.
He stated that this fraudulent case in the selection of CPNS was carried out using several applications to pass CPNS. In addition, the cheaters were assisted by several suspects from both civilians and state civil servants (ASN). “Regarding this case, we arrested 21 suspects from the civilians and nine others from the civil servants,” he explained.
The suspects were charged with Article 46 Juncto Article 30, Article 48 Juncto Article 32, and Article 50 Juncto Article 34 of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE).
