inp.polri.go.id – Pangkalpinang. The Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police (Polda Babel) established 22 security posts for 2022 Eid homecoming. These posts are to ensure security, order and public safety.
“This year’s homecoming security posts are focused on airports, ports and terminals,” said the Babel Islands Police Chief (Kapolda Babel), Inspector General Yan Sultra Indrajaya, in Pangkalpinang, Sunday, April 24, 2022. A total of 22 security posts are spread into 10 posts at the port, 10 at land transportation terminals, and two at airports in Belitung and Pangkalpinang City.
“We urge travelers to continue to comply with health protocols during their trip, in order to prevent and break the chain of transmission of the corona virus,” explained the Two-Star General, Inspector General Yan Sultra Indrajaya. He also predicts that this year’s Lebaran homecoming on arterial routes use will soar, especially those heading to the city/district center. An increase also occurred in the ferry ship crossing at Tanjung Kalian Muntok Port to Tanjung Api Api Port in Palembang and vice versa.
“Those of you who wants to go to your hometown, please do, but on a condition that you have to get a PCR test if you just vaccinated with the first dose, and antigen for those who get vaccinated with the second dose, while the booster doesn’t need to do PCR/antigen test,” concluded the Kapolda Babel.
