inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (Polri), together with the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) and the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag), held a one million booster vaccination program which started on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
The enthusiasm of the citizens to participate in this activity was very high. This is reflected in the results of the implementation of the program, which has only been running for two days and has already touched the figure of 72.38%.
“Until the second day of the activity, we have used 867,449 vaccines to the public. We have jabbed 62,347 first doses of vaccine to the people, and 166,562 for the second dose. For the booster, we have used 638,540 vaccines to be inoculated the people” said The Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of Polri’s Public Relations Division (Divisi Humas), Brigadier General Dr. Ahmad Ramadhan, S.H., M.H., M.Sc., to the media crew, Jakarta, on Saturday (23/04/22).
He also revealed that on Thursday, April 21, 2022, there were 378,390 participants. On the first day, 26,638 people received the first dose, and 67,940 of them received the second dose, while the other 283,812 received the booster.
Meanwhile, the total achievements on the second day of the program, there were 489,059 participants. On the second day, 35,709 people have received the first dose, and 98,622 of them have received the second dose, while the other 354,728 have received the booster
“The total number of vaccine targets alone is 1,198,359. Meanwhile, there are 2,397 vaccine implementation booths, with 21,668 vaccinators,” said Karo Penmas Divhumas Polri.
Furthermore, he said that the third day of the vaccination is targeted to be participated by 330,910 people to achieve the main target of this joint activity.
