inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The National Police (Polri) will hold the Ketupat Operation during the Eid homecoming in 2022. The operation, which starts on April 28, will not intercept or block travelers who will be traveling to their hometowns for Eid.
Instead, this operation will help travelers to have safe and smooth travels during their homecoming trip. This can be seen from the established service posts and homecoming security posts in all strategic locations.
Besides, there will be no prevention and isolation and Polri will also conduct simulations at several points prone to traffic jams. Thus, the peak of this year’s homecoming can be anticipated. The results of the evaluation must be an improvement when implementing the actual plan in securing the homecoming later.
According to mass media observer, Rahmat Edi Irawan, the big events must have strategies or plans to anticipate various alternative possibilities.
“All bad things can still happen during this year’s homecoming, the key is anticipation and the existence of various alternatives in dealing with them,” said the Jakarta Binus Communications Lecturer.
