inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The National Police (Polri) has confirmed that it will change the pattern in regulating travelers ahead of the 2022 Eid Al-Fitr. While the Police used to implement a checkpoint system, this time will be more.
“We make sure that it would not lead for prosecution. However, the One-Star General said security and service posts were still being prepared.
“Of course this is not solely to smoothen the flow of traffic, but also how we secure the Eid situation. Not only in traffic, but the situation as a whole,” he said.
He added that in addition to securing traffic flow, the Police will also secure the mosques used for Eid prayers and places that has the potential being full of crowd.
“For example, shopping places and places where people usually go after Eid al-Fitr is over,” he concluded.
