inp.polri.go.id – The medical team of Noken Community Development of Cartenz Peace Ops Damai routinely provides free health services for people in a remote areas of Papua.
This time, the personnel led by Ipda dr. Michael Ayhuan met with the community in Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency. They examine and assist the people by giving them vitamins and medicines, Tuesday (19/04).
He explained that the activity was part of their responsibility to take care the public health in the Self-Healthy Symbol Health (Keladi Sagu) program.
“One of our responsibility in the health sector is to routinely carry out public health examinations, this is useful to prevent and treats various diseases that are complained of,” explained Ipda dr. Michael.
His party has also provided free treatment by giving antibiotics and health education to two residents who have leg injuries.
Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Papua Police (Polda Papua), Commissioner Drs. Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, SH appreciated the quick steps taken by the Noken Community Development medical team in dealing with health complaints experienced by the community in Intan Jaya.
“By providing responsive services, various health problems can be resolved, so that daily activity can run well, while also improving the quality of public health,” said Kabid Humas.
