inp.polri.go.id – The Directorate of Special Crime Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) of Aceh Police (Polda Aceh) and its staff have uncovered and taken action against at least 21 cases of subsidized diesel fuel abuse with a total of 44.5 tons of fuel as evidence.
The Director of Ditreskrimsus (Dirkrimsus) of Polda Aceh, Commissioner Sony Sonjaya said the disclosure was part of the Police’s commitment to crack down on the subsidized fuel abuse.
“The Aceh Police and their ranks will continue to take action against anyone who misuses subsidized fuel. Throughout this April, 21 cases were revealed with evidence of 44.5 tons of subsidized diesel,” explained the Aceh Regional Police Intermediate Officer.
Commissioner Sony Sonjaya said that of the 21 cases of misuse of subsidized fuel, 25 people were secured by the police as suspects.
“In addition to seizing 44.5 tons of subsidized diesel, investigators also confiscated 16 units of four-wheeled vehicles and three units of two-wheeled vehicles,” said the Akabri graduate in 1991.
Direskrimsus Polda Aceh explained that monitoring and prosecution of perpetrators’ abuse of subsidized fuel will continue to be carried out. Polda Aceh also guarantees the availability and smooth distribution of the fuel.
