inp.polri.go.id – Maluku Police Chief (Kapolda Maluku), Inspector General Drs. H. Lotharia Latif, S.H., M.Hum., warned the admissions committee not to play around in the recruitment of prospective members of the Indonesian National Police in 2022. He also asked the public to be careful with all the brokers who might scam them.
The National Police of the Republic of Indonesia (Polri) is currently opening the selection of Taruna Akpol, NCO in 2022. This recruitment of new members of Polri is also carried out by the Regional Committee (Panda) of the Maluku Police (Polda Maluku).
“The entire recruitment committee of Polri members is required to carry out the entire series of selections following applicable regulations,” said Kapolda Maluku, Wednesday (13/4/2022).
He hopes that the committee can guide all the instructions and directions that have been set by the National Police Headquarters. “Don’t make the slightest deviation that is detrimental to the community, or make deviations in its implementation,” said Kapolda.
Latif admitted that he had deployed Propam personnel to oversee all processes or stages of recruiting new members of Polri. “I have deployed Propam to monitor and follow up all the recruitment processes from the beginning to the end,” he stressed.
Kapolda Maluku also reminded the people not to be easily fooled by brokers who claim to be able to guarantee the graduation of their children as members of Polri.
“Especially by asking for money in return. It’s all a lie and definitely a fraud. If a member or anyone offers such an offer, write down his name and report it to the Polda Propam,” said Kapolda Maluku.
The former East Nusa Tenggara Police Chief explained that the recruitment process for the new members of Polri was carried out with a very strict system. Each participant can supervise the other.
“It should be noted that the current selection has a tight system. There is mutual control among the participants themselves, where the scores are immediately announced and the participants can see each other’s scores. If it’s good, it’s good, and if it’s bad, it’s bad,” said Kapolda Maluku.
Therefore, the community is asked to be able to prepare their children’s intelligence, and physical and mental wellness, so that they can pass all stages of the selection following applicable regulations.
He reiterated that his party would act decisively if some members or citizens were found to be brokers. The briber will also be dealt with according to the applicable law, and the selected participant will be removed from membership.
“I will process all members or committees who try to commit irregularities and I ask for community participation to report any deviations,” he concluded.
