inp.polri.go.id – The planned demonstration which will be held on Monday (11/4/2022) is not only going to be happening in Jakarta only. The All-Indonesian Student Executive Board (BEM SI) rallies the students across Indonesia to participate in the rally in various regions, including West Java.
To anticipate the demonstration of the students, the West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) will alert their personnel to secure several points.
The West Java Regional Police Chief (Kapolda Jabar) Inspector General Drs. Suntana, M.Sc., instructed all his staff not to carry firearms or sticks when securing demonstrations. Security will be carried out humanely.
“Polda Jabar will continue to prioritize a persuasive approach in securing demonstration activities and avoid repressive actions,” he explained.
Head of Public Relations(Kabid Humas) of Polda Jabar, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo S.I.K., M.Si, added that Polda Jabar will provide security from the beginning to the end of the demonstration and personnel will prioritize persuasive steps in securing the course of the action.
“In this case, Polda Jabar will ensure that the location, objects, and people involved in the demonstration will be safe and secured without any disturbances,” he concluded.
