inp.polri.go.id – Joint forces were deployed to secure rallies in two different places on Monday (11/4/22), namely at the parliament complex and the Medan Merdeka area, Central Jakarta.
The demonstration in front of the parliament complex was held by a mass of students who are members of the All-Indonesian Student Executive Board (BEM SI).
“There are two places for the demonstration, in the DPR/MPR complex and at the Arjuna Wijaya Carriage statue,” explained the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of the Polda Metro Jaya Commissioner Zulpan, Monday (11/4/22).
At the Arjuna Wijaya Carriage Statue, several elements of society joined the rally, one of which was the workers.
However, Kabidhumas has not disclosed the number of joint police and military personnel deployed to secure the two locations.
Meanwhile, the Directorate of Traffic of Polda Metro Jaya has also prepared traffic engineering and road blockade in anticipation of demonstrations, both around the DPR Building and the Arjuna Wijaya Statue.
