inp.polri.go.id – Medan. The North Sumatra Regional Police carried out the Toba Kancil Operation 2021. In operation, which was held from 22 October to 11 November 2021, the police arrested 147 suspects from 129 cases that were revealed.
In this operation, evidence of 87 motorcycles and four four-wheeled units was also secured, said the Director of the Criminal Investigation of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Tatan Dirsan Atmaja, during a presentation at the North Sumatra Regional Police Headquarters, Monday (11/29/21).
Furthermore, the officers confiscated other evidence, namely keys or equipment used by the perpetrators, such as hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, and T keys. Then 12 pieces from Proof of Vehicle Ownership, 22 Vehicle Registration Certificates sheets, and IDR 1.5 million in cash.
Police Grand Commissioner. Tatan Dirsan Atmaja said that after carrying out the operation, his party also continued to carry out routine operations related to theft cases in the North Sumatra region. “We also convey through the media that people who feel they have a motorbike that we confiscated from the perpetrators, please attend or later we will create a hotline to convey that the motorbike is included in the operation that we confiscated in the mouse deer operation by proving evidence of ownership from the community.” said the Pol. Grand Commissioner Tatan Dirsan Atmaja.
