The Commander and Chief of the National Police inspected directly to ensure that the national sports week’s opening, implementation, and closing ran safely, peacefully, and smoothly.

“Of course, we hope that with the security personnel who have entered from ring 1 to 4, it is hoped that all National Sports Week security activities will run safely, smoothly and well,” said the National Police Chief.
In addition to protecting the security and social security disturbances, the former Banten Police Chief also reminded the public about the importance of maintaining health for the community. Among them are the acceleration of vaccination and the application of health protocols (prokes) in the midst of the implementation of the National Sports Week.
One of them is the acceleration of vaccination. Given the requirement to watch the match live, the public must get a vaccine injection.
“Then our appeal is related to the activities carried out for the audience, 25 percent of the venue’s capacity for spectators who attended has been vaccinated twice. Together with the Commander in Chief, we have opened vaccine outlets in 4 venue areas, and we hope that this can be responded to. So that in addition to the vaccination process going well, people have the opportunity to watch because it is a requirement that it can be carried out properly,” said the former National Police’s Crime Investigation Officer.
Therefore, the National Police Chief invites the public to immediately come to the vaccination booth that has been provided by the National Armed Forces and National Police. That way, the 2021 National Sports Week implementation can safely take place from disturbances in the security and social order and prevent a spike in the growth of Covid-19.
