Inspector-General Dedi Prasetyo, together with the Chairperson of Bhayangkari Mrs. Martha Dedi Prasetyo again distributed food packages to the community in two locations, namely at Water Treatment Plant Km 14 Tjilik Riwut and Kameloh Baru Village, Palangka Raya City.
Before being distributed, the Regional Police Chief released the distribution of essential food packages accompanied by the Deputy Chief of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Brigadier General Pol. Ida Oetari Purnamasasi, the leading official of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police and the Bhayangkari administrator, which was held in front of the Central Kalimantan Police Headquarters lobby.
The Regional Police Chief said that his party distributed as many as 150 food packages to the people in the two locations affected by Covid-19 and flooding.
This social assistance, continued by the Regional Police Chief, is proof of the Central Kalimantan Police’s concern with the Bhayangkari Management for the people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the current flood.
“In addition, the social assistance this time is also in a series to commemorate the 69th Bhayangkari Movement Unity Day (HKGB),” said the Regional Police Chief.
Meanwhile, Central Kalimantan Regional Police’s Head of PR, Pol. Grand Commissioner K. Eko Saputro said that in this activity, the Regional Police Chief, together with the Chairman of Bhayangkari, went directly to distribute aid in the two locations.
For the distribution of social assistance to the Kameloh Baru Village area, the Regional Police Chief, together with the Chairman of Bhayangkari and his entourage, used a motorboat belonging to the Central Kalimantan Regional Police’s Directorate of Water and Aiir, then reached residential areas that were isolated by land routes due to flooding.
In addition to the basic food packages, the Head of PR continued, his party also provided multivitamins and masks and Trauma Healing to the community.
“Hopefully, with the assistance that we provide, it can help alleviate the hardships of the community,” concluded the Head of PR.
