inp.polri.go.id. – Serang. Accelerating the Covid-19 vaccination and implementing health protocols (Prokes) are considered keys to restoring the tourism sector, and the economy can bounce back. The police force continues to intensify the vaccination campaign. This time it was the Alumni of the 1999 Banten Police Academy Battalion Endra Dharmalaksana in the framework of 22 years of service to hold Mass Vaccination and distribute social assistance (Baksos) to the Baduy Inland Tribe community at the Ciboleger Baduy Tribe Tourism Area, Monday, (09/27).
The implementation of vaccination and the delivery of social assistance is a series of Social Service and Mass Vaccination events for alumni of the Banten Regional Police Academy in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and the 2000 Battalion Unity to rising from the Pandemic which the Banten Regional Police Chief symbolically inaugurated at the Banten Regional Police Apple Field on Saturday, September 18th.
In his remarks, representatives from the 1999 Alumni of the Banten Regional Police Battalion, Endra Dharmalaksana, Head of the Banten Regional Police’s PR, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Shinto Silitonga said this activity was in the framework of 22 years of service for the 99 Police Academy alumni to the country.
“Today, social service activities and vaccinations for alumni of the 99 Police Academy Battalion Endra Dharmalaksana were held throughout Indonesia and as a mandate from the National Police Chief, General Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, in order to help the community during the Covid-19 pandemic,” explained the Head of the Banten Regional Police’s PR.
The Head of Banten Regional Police’s PR also explained that the Vaccination and Social Service Activities of the 99th Police Academy Battalion Endra Dharmalaksana were centred in the Ciboleger Baduy Tribe Tourism Area in collaboration with Jaro. Vaccination carried out by Alumni of 1999 Police Academy of Banten Regional Police Battalion Endra Dharmalaksana as many as 500 doses of the Sinovac type and social assistance as many as 500 packages of necessities, after the Baduy community was vaccinated, they would receive food packages.
“This vaccination activity is held as an effort to accelerate the creation of herd immunity, protect the Baduy Tribe community from Covid-19 and motivate the tourism sector in Ciboleger to return to normal so that economic activity from the community can be carried out. Indonesia is healthy, Indonesia grows, Indonesia grows,” he added.
