inp.polri.go.id – Medan. North Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Pol. inspector-General R.Z. Panca Putra Simanjuntak, encourages tourism destinations in Nias, North Sumatra, to grow again in order to restore the tourism sector, which had been affected by COVID-19.
On the sidelines of the review of the vaccination implementation, I saw and witnessed the traditional rock-jumping art, which is famous in South Nias Regency as well as several marine tourism whose beaches are pretty beautiful, said the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief during a working visit to Teluk Dalam District, South Nias Regency, Sunday ( 09/26/21 ).
The Regional Police Chief said that the acceleration of vaccination in the Nias Islands also encouraged tourist destinations to grow again to restore the tourism sector and boost the economy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Growing back public interest in tourist destinations has become the main agenda and priority while serving in North Sumatra in supporting the work of the central government,” he said.
The Regional Police Chief added, of course, amid the current Covid-19 pandemic, the North Sumatra Police and the I/BB Regional Military Command and the local government continue to accelerate vaccinations so that the tourism sector can return to normal.
During a working visit, the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief was presented with the traditional rock-jumping art, which has become a tradition and world tour in Bawo Mataluo Village, Teluk Dalam District, South Nias Regency, North Sumatra.
