Eradicating Drugs, South Sumatra Regional Police Reveals 36 Drug Cases for a Week

inp.polri.go.id – Palembang. As many as 45 suspects from 36 drug cases were successfully revealed by the South Sumatra Regional Police together with the ranks of the Resort Police. This is done during a week in the 4th week of September 2021.

The Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Supriadi said that his members did not stop disclosing cases to narrow the drug network in South Sumatra.

“Although we have arrested dozens of people related to drug problems, we will not stop and continue to disclose, and this is proven in the last week our members have succeeded in securing 45 suspects with 36 cases that were successfully revealed in this third week,” explained the Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police, Monday (09/27/21).

The evidence that was secured this week, such as 1.3 Kilogram (Kg) of crystal methamphetamine, 966.07 grams of marijuana and 115 pills of ecstasy, were confiscated from 45 suspects who were arrested.

“From revealing cases that our members did together with Resort Departemental Police and Resort Police ranks, we managed to save 9,324 lives of the younger generation,” explained the Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police.

There are no prominent cases for this week, and only the OKI Police and Empat Lawang have revealed no cases on this fourth week.

“We will continue to take action against drug networks in South Sumatra; we even urge the city resort police and Resort Police ranks to continue to improve their performance in eradicating drug networks,” explained the Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police.
