inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Forty-four doctors registered as the Student of Sumber Sarjana Police Inspector School (SIPSS) for Doctors Class of 2021 are deployed to Papua. They would support the medical workers for the 20th National Sports Week (PON XX).
The departing of these doctors is led by the Chief of Police Commissioned Officer School of the Education and Training Board of Indonesian National Police, Police Brigadier General Mardiaz Kusin Dwihananto.
“They will join the Health Sub-Task Force of Operational Control Assistance (BKO) Unit of Papua Regional Police. They will be there during Indonesia’s largest once-every-four-years sports event. They will be tasked as the additional vaccinators in the arena of PON XX od Papua, which spread across four host regions such as Jayapura City, Mimika Regency, and Merauke Regency”, Police Brigadier General Mardiaz Kusin Dwihananto said on Friday (24/9/21).
In his instructions, Police Brigadier General Mardiaz Kusin Dwihananto stated eight instructions to the doctors or the SIPSS students related to their duties as the Health Sub-Task Force of the BKO Unit Papua Regional Police.
First, conducting tasks wholeheartedly and responsibly. Second, maintaining honour and professional code of ethics as a doctor and Police personnel.
Third, enhancing awareness of any vulnerabilities. Fourth, always in synergy with the Armed Forces and other institutions, including the students of Nurses NCO with Special Competence (Bakomsus) that also involved in the activities.
Fifth, maintaining discipline and obey the command. Sixth, not to act out of command. Seventh, guarding, protecting, and reminding each other for the common safety. Eight, never forget to pray and make the deployment a pride.
The departing ceremony for the 44 doctors (SIPSS students) of the Class of 2021 to Papua in the context of supporting and safeguarding PON XX was attended by all Primary Officials of Police Commissioned Officer School of the Education and Training Board of Indonesian National Police and Medicine-specialised students of SIPSS of the Class of 2021.
