inp.polri.go.id – Papua. To speed up vaccination, the National Police Headquarters deployed 100 Covid-19 Vaccination Regiments (Revaco) to the 2021 Papua National Sports Week (PON), which will take place October 2-15, 2021.
The members of the National Police who were sent consisted of 88 vaccinators and 12 assistants. They will be on Cenderawasih Land during the biggest four-year sporting event in Indonesia. They will also serve as additional medical personnel in the 2021 Papua National Sports Week arena, divided into four districts/cities in Papua Province, the venues for the sports being competed, namely Jayapura City and District Mimika Regency and Merauke.
“The 100 members have already left. Acting as coordinator of the Medical equipment Police Health Center, Pol Grand Commissioner Budi Heriadi,” said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Pol. Inspector-General Argo Yuwono, Saturday (09/25/2021).
According to the Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, the addition of this vaccinator is expected to help accelerate the implementation of both the first and second vaccinations.
“We hope that the Covid-19 Vaccinator Regiment will work seriously and full of responsibility. Then maintain the honour and professional code of ethics both as a doctor or as a member of the National Police,” concluded Two-Star General.
